Immersive Shooting Environment (ISE)
Our Immersive Shooting Environment (ISE) is designed to provide extreme and intensive combatant training by fully immersing individuals in high stress situations and environments.
The ISE is a modular, No Danger Area (NDA) encapsulated shooting environment that allows a combatant to be immersed through emotions and human senses into a realistic targetry platform that culminates in the decision of judicious lethality.
The ISE can be constructed by modular shipping containers, Amidon Ballistic Concrete (ABC) or concrete tilt panels producing a modular design consisting of the following components:
- Projectile containment (Structure).
- Bullet Trap (Viper).
- Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC).
- Fully immersive virtual Military Integrated Learning Objectives (MILO).
- Operated and monitored by an Intelligent Range Management System (iRMS).
- Targetry and full fit out.
VIPER TRAP
Is designed to safely capture all pistol calibres and centerfire rifle projectiles up to 8mm and collect projectile fragments in an easily exchanged, environmentally conscious collection receptacle. Constructed with quality Australian certified steel products that have been tested to standards aligned to keep the shooter, environment and public safe.
VIPER JAWS
Deflects projectiles onto the Deflection Plate and subsequently into the Viper Bullet Trap. Constructed of 12mm Hardened Steel, supported by Milling Certificates to warrant the hardness of the composition.
BULLET TRAP
The Viper Bullet Trap is designed to safely capture all pistol and centrefire calibers up to 8mm and collect projectile fragments in an easily exchanged environmentally conscious collection receptacle.
VIPER RECEPTACLE
The Viper Collection Receptacle is designed to cleanly and efficiently collect all projectile waste.
HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC)
HVAC systems provide comfortable environments which can be heated and cooled using this technology, which is a “must have” within our ISE facilities.
The replacement or exchange of air within an ISE is represented by the V in HVAC or ventilation. These systems utilise outside air to offer excellent air quality indoors. It improves interior air quality by removing moisture, smoke, dust, smells, heat, carbon dioxide, airborne bacteria, and other gases, maintaining temperature, and resupplying oxygen.
MILITARY INTEGRATED LEARNING OBJECTIVES (MILO)
Military Integrated Learning Objectives (MILO) is a video target system designed to fully immerse combatants in virtual situations using simulations and scenarios to enhance training in the following areas:
- Mission-specific interactive judgement
- Decision support
- Critical incident
- De-escalation
- Tactical judgement
- Firearms proficiency
Each high-definition or 4K scenario simulates real world and high stress encounters which play out differently depending on the individual’s response to the situation. Depending on which training is required, MILO scenarios comply with a range of weaponry, including, but not limited to: hand gun models, tactical rifles, shotguns, tasers, batons, sprays.
